Isle of Man cat

The Isle of Man cat is a unique cat. First of all, it has a special shape. Its body shape is similar to that of a British shorthair cat (confirmed introduction), but its hind legs are smaller. The front legs are long, so it walks like a rabbit. On the other hand, its origin is strange. It is said that it is a cat that broke out due to a genetic abnormality. There are also many rumors and novels related to it. Therefore, the Manx cat has been known as the Manx cat for hundreds of years. It has always been well received.

Manx cats originate from the Isle of Man, an island on the sea between England and Ireland. From a more thorough geographical perspective, the Isle of Man is located at the center of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland. It is a royal residence in the United Kingdom. The island's autonomous government has a deep history and the scenery is stunning. When you land on the island, you will find many surprises. The most obvious thing is the vegetation. Due to different altitudes, the distribution of plants also varies from short to high. There are many grasslands in the gentle hills of the coastal lowlands. The grasslands are separated by obstacles or stone slabs. They are thought to be boundary markers or barriers for grazing cattle and sheep. When you go up to about 200 meters above sea level, you will see patches of pine and cypress trees, which look like private man-made forests. Higher up, the green grassland disappears and is covered by continuous ocher-red heather plants (to be introduced). Sheep are scattered on the hillside, looking hard for edible grass. The top of the mountain is often submerged in clouds and mist, making it difficult to see the true face of Mount Lushan. It is precisely this beautiful scenery that breeds the Manx cat.

The origin of the Manx cat’s discord:

Account1: In the 1930s, a plague broke out among the cats on the island, and more than half of them died. The surviving cats later died. Kittens are born without tails. Residents on the island also think cats without tails are strange. They specially hand-make silver, wood, cloth, ceramic and other cats of different sizes and colors to attract tourists as travel souvenirs.

Myth 2: Manx catArriving late to board Noah's Ark, Noah caught it by the tail as he closed the door.

Statement3: The earliest Manx cat was brought to the British Isles from the Far East by the Spanish merchant fleet in the 16th century. Mutated cats on the island. Because the island is geographically isolated from the outside world, this tailless cat has survived.
